Join us in supporting the 2025 Walk For Alzheimer’s

Group of people walking for Alzheimer's charity walk

Over 700,000 people across Canada have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease including many in the greater Toronto area. This condition doesn’t just impact the individual with Alzheimer’s—it affects entire families by creating significant physical, logistical, financial and emotional challenges. We understand how devastating a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease can be, and Living Assistance Services is committed to helping seniors maintain the highest possible quality of life while experiencing dementia.

For the past 8 years, Integracare (the parent company of Living Assistance Services) has been a dedicated support of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. Our team recently accepted the challenge to participate in the 2025 IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s. This annual event raises funds for research and care while raising awareness of the condition. If you’d like to join us in supporting this fantastic cause, please read on.

How to join the Walk for Alzheimer’s

The Walk for Alzheimer’s is taking place at Fort York in Toronto on Saturday, May 24th. Registration begins at 9am, the walk begins at 10:30am and the event ends at 1pm. If you’d like to join Team Integracare, please visit this link to register. We look forward to having a large group on site—friends and family are welcome to come cheer us on, so please feel free to join us even if you won’t be walking! All are welcome.

In addition to the walk, there will be a variety of family-friendly activities on site. Bring the kids for some face painting, enjoy some snacks and beverages, grab some swag from the event organizers and cheer on our team. We’d love to see you there!

How to make a donation

If you’d like to make a donation to Team Integracare, please visit this link. All proceeds raised by the Walk for Alzheimer’s go directly to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, which does incredible work supporting families in our community. One of their current goals is to fund research that could delay the onset of Alzheimer’s Disease by 10 years, which would result in 4 million fewer cases by 2050. In the meantime, they offer a wide range of services—please visit their website to learn more.

Thanks for your support

If your family has been touched by Alzheimer’s Disease, you know how critical research, community and care are. Thank you for supporting the 2025 Walk for Alzheimer’s—whether you walk with us, donate in support of our team or simply send words of encouragement, we are thankful for your support.
