In-Home Wound Care Nurse Service in Toronto & the GTA
Registered nurses assess and treat wounds at home across Toronto and the GTA. We handle dressing changes, infection monitoring, and care coordination so healing stays on track.

Nurse-led wound care at home
Every wound plan is written and overseen by a registered nurse who visits the client, assesses the wound, and stays in contact with the family doctor.
Registered Nurses
Registered nurses assess each wound, write the care plan, perform dressing changes, and monitor for signs of infection at every visit.
Safe Healing at Home
We treat surgical wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, and skin tears in the comfort of home, reducing the need for clinic or hospital visits.

Dressing changes are scheduled at the frequency the wound requires. Our nurses arrive on time and document progress after every visit.

Why families trust us with wound care at home
As part of the Integracare family, we have served Ontario families for over 35 years. Our registered nurses are Nevvon-trained, supported by ISO 9001:2015 quality processes, and recognised by Excellence Canada and Great Place to Work. We hold Ontario Health atHome (OHAH) provider status, so public and private care can be coordinated under one roof.
Families choose us for clinical consistency. The same nurse returns visit after visit, knows the wound history, and can reach the family doctor directly. You get a free in-home assessment to start, and nursing support is available around the clock.

We confirm the dressing schedule, the materials required, and the nurse who will carry out the visits. Frequency is set by clinical need.

Frequently asked questions about wound care at home
What kinds of wounds do you treat at home?
We treat surgical wounds, pressure injuries (bed sores), diabetic foot ulcers, skin tears, and other chronic or slow-healing wounds. If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, call us and a nurse will advise you.
Does a registered nurse perform the dressing changes?
Yes. All dressing changes and wound assessments are carried out by registered nurses. They follow a care plan written to match the wound type and any guidance from your family doctor or specialist.
How often will the nurse visit for dressing changes?
Frequency depends on the wound. Some wounds require a dressing change daily; others every two or three days. The registered nurse sets the schedule at the initial assessment and adjusts it as healing progresses.
Can you manage diabetic wound care at home?
Yes. Diabetic foot ulcers and lower-leg wounds are among the most common cases we see. Our registered nurses assess circulation, apply appropriate dressings, and coordinate with the family doctor or diabetes care team.
What are the signs of infection I should watch for?
Warning signs include increased redness, warmth, swelling, or pain around the wound, discharge that is cloudy or foul-smelling, and fever. If you notice any of these between scheduled visits, call us. Our nursing line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
