November is here and with it comes a solemn occasion that’s important to many Canadians: Remembrance Day. A time to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our rights and freedoms, this annual memorial is incredibly meaningful to many seniors in our community.
Whether your aging loved ones were in the armed forces, part of a military family or simply want to honour the fallen, they may want to participate in a local ceremony. Here are some events in Toronto and Mississauga that will be open to the public and/or televised on November 11th.
